AAA Hockey Info
PROGRAM INFORMATION
AAA Hockey is an off-season program for players that want to train in the spring/summer. Teams are formed by birth year and all players must tryout. This program has a high commitment and competition level.
Tryouts for the 2027 Season are the weekend of Sept 11th-13th in Andover.
Ages for 2027 Season
Boys 2013 - 2020
Girls U19 - U8 (2007's - 2019's)
*Age levels offered are subject to change based on interest level
When
1st half of season: Mid March to Mid/End of May
2nd half of season: 3rd week in July - End of August
Where
Most of our practices are held at the Andover Community Center. A few practices will be held at other rinks in the north metro (usually Blaine or Coon Rapids).

Tournaments
4-6 AAA Tournaments

Jerseys
Every player receives a game jersey and socks. Practice jerseys are also supplied.

Tryouts for the 2027 AAA Season will be held September 11th-13th.
Cost
Cost varies by team
In general, most teams are in the $1,600 - $2,000 range
2020 Boys and U8 Girls are in the $1,000 - $1,200 range as they have less practices and tournaments.
Levels
We have teams that compete at the following levels*:
Elite = Top level, competes at the top local and national level (similar to a "AA" winter team)
Invite = Competes in a mix of invite and upper open level tournaments (similar to a high-end "A" level winter team)
Blue = Competes at the "upper open" level (similar to an "A" level winter team)
AAA = Competes at the "open" level (similar to a "B" level winter team)
*We plan to have 1-3 teams at each age group. Most age groups average 2 teams per level.
The number/level of teams we have at each age depends on talent level, interest, coach availability and is subject to change year-to-year.*
