Spring Mite League

Registration for our 2027 Spring League will open in January. Please check back in December (2026) for the exact date and time that registration will open. This program fills up EXTREMELY fast (within 10 minutes of opening) so please register as soon as it opens if your child wants to play.

2026 ELIGIBLE BIRTHDATES

SKATERS - 09/01/2016 - 12/31/2019 - A/B/C Mites ONLY (No Squirt level skaters)

GOALIES - 06/01/2016 - 12/31/2018 - A/B Mites OR Lower Level Squirts that are in the age range listed

PRACTICE PLAYER SKATERS - 09/01/2016 - 08/31/2020 - A/B/C/D Mites

PRACTICE PLAYER GOALIES - 09/01/2016 - 12/31/2019 - A/B/C Mites

The goal of this program is to broaden the base of the pyramid giving as many kids as possible a place to play in the spring and summer.

The games will be full ice games, with a referee calling appropriate calls for this level. We also will include an exciting "NHL style" atmosphere during games with music, penalties, goal horns and goal/assist announcements! The practices will focus on skill development and incorporate game type situations into a practice format.

This program is geared for kids at the following levels:

"A" level Mites (NOT Elite level Mites)

"B" level Mites

"C" level Mites (upper level)

Upper-level U8 Girls

PLEASE NOTE - 2016 birth year kids playing on ANY AAA Team are NOT eligible to play Spring League in the 2026 Season. Kids playing on our 2017 and 2018 Teams are still eligible to play (as long as they are playing Mites) however it is possible that some practices will conflict with this schedule. All player registrations are subject to our approval.

*Goalies must be playing at the A Mite, B Mite or Lower Squirt Level and must provide their own equipment. Practice Player Goalies can be A, B or C Mites.

Please contact us if you have a player that is not playing at the above levels but you think would be a good fit in this league. 

PLEASE NOTE - ALL players must attend the evaluation session in order to play in the league. Following evaluations, if we feel that your child was not keeping up with the pace of the majority of kids, your child will be moved to a practice player spot. We will contact you if this is the case. It is very important that we keep the level of competition consistent so that everyone on the ice can have a positive experience. We will do our best to try and find a spot for every player.
